MARCH 19 – 22, 2023

Retreat in Serenbe

You started your business with a fire and a determination that could conquer the world.

You used to be creative. After all, it’s what urged you to pursue owning your own business in the first place.

You’d spend all your days doing this if you could.

At some point, the entrepreneurial rollercoaster got to you and now you’re lost, forcing yourself to do the mundane, day-to-day tasks.

That burning flame that once ignited your passion is all but a dim glow in the bottom of a years-old candle.

Unfortunately for your business, it shows up all over the place

It shows up in the paralysis you feel when you try to promote
yourself on social media.

It shows up in your timid demeanor when presenting a
proposal to a prospect.

It shows up in your bottomless to-do list that feels more like dropping spinning plates than the expert juggler you thought
you were.

Doubt creeps in and you’re no longer the expert.

You’re a fraud who had no business taking money in the first place.

What happened to you?

Weren’t you supposed to have it all?

Wasn’t this supposed to be ‘living the dream’?

We get stuck and our limiting beliefs hold us back in ways we
don’t even recognize.

Earlier last year, I was looking for a retreat
that would re-energize me.

After 6 months of absolute chaos in my life, I felt a re-charge was long overdue. When I started looking around, I realized there wasn’t much available that spoke to me.

I was feeling burned out. I was looking for a group of like-minded women on the same entrepreneurial journey to feel like I wasn’t the only one living in this madness. I needed some good vibes and sunshine in my soul but I was lost as to where to find it.

So, I sent Lisa a text and asked her if she knew of any place nearby. Within an hour, I was looking at Serenbe’s website in utter disbelief that this place not only existed, but was a short 50 minute drive from my house.

A few weeks later, Lisa and I embarked on a journey through inspired action that led us on a much needed wild ride of transformation.

While we thought Serenbe was the be-all-end-all weekend we needed, it was only the precipice for a months-long (and still continuing) journey of transformation both personally and professionally.

We dove in, head first, taking in all Serenbe had to offer.

We met with yoga instructors and petted goats. We took a walk through the woods that forever changed our perspective. We browsed boutiques and bookstores.

We walked the labyrinth that transformed how we viewed time. We took photos and journaled, laughed and ate incredibly delicious, nourishing food.

We breathed in the fresh air and felt change from within.

We left that weekend with full hearts and open eyes. Little did we know the journey had only begun.

In the weeks and months that followed, we shed the old habits that were holding us back. We made huge, transformational moves personally and professionally. We manifested more than we imagined possible. We used the tools we learned to break through old patterns and showed up in ways we’d never been able to before.

Now we want to share that fully supportive, life-giving,
immersive experience with you.

The answer isn’t more thinking or more advice or more input. The answer comes when we move our bodies, when we make space for play, when we can quiet our minds of all the to-do’s and the ‘shoulds’ long enough to listen.

Even Though

You’re driven and a hard worker,
you know there’s something more to discover

What if you could up-level
your life without burning
it all down?

What if you could become
a magnet for all you desire
without sabotaging it?

What if you could hit the
reset button without
getting rid of the goods?

Don’t spend another second of your precious
life wondering when it’ll be your turn.

For a 4-day immersive experience

We’ll explore new ideas, build energy, nurture dreams,
and overcome hurdles so you can build
a life and business you love.

You’ll laugh until your cheeks and belly hurt as you engage in a fun session of goat yoga.

Goats are considered to be one of the best emotional support animals. Join in on the fun as Heather guides us through a light-hearted session of goat yoga to give ourselves a break from anxiety, stress, self-doubt, and judgment. When we can lose ourselves in an activity and not care about the outcome, we’re able to get glimpses of what it feels like to be fully alive.

You’ll find yourself dropping comparisons and learning how to be more intentional in the labyrinth.

With our fast-paced do-it-all-ness, we rush through life where our anxiety doesn’t let us enjoy the slow-down. Rest is met with an equal amount of guilt and we’re not really resting at all.

When you approach the labyrinth, you may simply see a bunch of rocks arranged in a really cool formation. What’s really there are boundaries that guide your mind and body in reflection. Heather shows us how to be intentional in this guided meditative walk.

You’ll experience a new way to breathe deeply to reconnect your body and mind.

How many times have you caught yourself holding your breath as you move throughout your day? When we feel stressed or anxious we do it far more often than we know.

In a life-giving Breathwork session, Nicole will lead us on a supported journey to reach a deeper state of mind, release our stress, and connect to our bodies more completely than ever before.

You’ll take a walk through the forest that will help you uncover a new way to be present.

How often do we pour into every other person and every other thing but leave ourselves on empty? Heather’s soft voice will lead you on a deep journey to a waterfall where we’ll use elements of tai chi to gather what we need.

You’ll engage all your senses in this forest bathing exercise and, once you emerge, you’ll never look at the forest the same way again.

You’ll connect the dots to live more authentically.

There are the stories we tell the world, there are stories we tell ourselves, and the stories that live inside of our soul. They rarely align, which keeps us from showing up as our most authentic selves.

In this session, Lisa will help you ditch the self-sabotage in favor of fully authentic alignment in the way you show up both in your life and your business.

You’ll be given prompts to help you unearth what’s inside.

How many times have you been stuck on a major business decision and heard someone say “go within” or “the answers are inside of you” but you don’t know exactly what you should do? “Get still” they say, so you sit there and will it to come, yet you experience nothing but frustration that you’re doing it wrong.

Enter journaling. You’ll learn how to get in touch with your higher self and write the words you need to hear from deep within. Answers emerge with ease so you can feel confidence in taking inspired action in the direction of your dreams.

You’ll feel deeply connected as you sit around the bonfire.

Novelist Jeanette Winterson writes: “I have noticed that when all the lights are on, people tend to talk about what they are doing — their outer lives. Sitting round in candlelight or firelight, people start to talk about how they are feeling – their inner lives. They speak subjectively, they argue less, there are longer pauses.”

Nightly (and weather permitting), you’ll connect deeply with the equally business-minded souls around you in the glow of burning embers and a full sky of stars up above.

You’ll get the permission you didn’t know you were looking for to be a fully alive, whole human again.

When was the last time you made space for a new creative pursuit that wasn’t for your business or for anyone else? Something you enjoyed solely for you? Coming up short? It’s no surprise – women entrepreneurs have to be on all the time and when we do get a moment of down time, our eyes gloss over with literally not one single idea of something we might be interested in.

In these guided play sessions, Erika will help you explore a few new activities that will give you uninterrupted creative time. You’ll get to choose your own adventure and leave with a few that might become staples in your new life.

Lisa navigates business ownership with the freedom that allows her to focus on her business and caring for two toddler grandsons, 2 days a week.

Erika Bryant

After intimately coaching over a hundred entrepreneurs to build a better business in the past four years, Erika understands what gets you stuck and how to gently and directly inch you forward to take the next right step for you and your business. Though she’s been a marketing professional and business advisor for 18 years, she’s also a perpetual learner, tea drinker, artist, and mama to an incredible 6 year old daughter.

Heather Ruth

After leaving a high stress career that left her sick and tired, Heather made her way to teaching yoga and becoming the owner of Serenbe Yoga. Her journey to yoga began as a way to manage stress and gain physical strength. As the proud Mom to 5 Nigerian Goats (in addition to daughter Madison), most weekends Heather can be found teaching Goat Yoga at The Animal Village at Serenbe.
